Steel Grip was started by three local student-athletes — Kyle Robinson, Anthony Swayza, and Johnny Kyle. We were tired of seeing neighbors get stuck with slow, overpriced haulers, so we pooled a truck, a work ethic, and started knocking on doors around Naperville.
A few hundred jobs later, we're a real Chicagoland business. Same three founders. Same phone number. We still show up ourselves, we still sweep the garage before we leave, and we still answer texts on Sunday nights. That's the whole point.
Founder & Owner — Lead Operations, Customer Service & Business Development
Kyle is a founder and owner of Steel Grip. He runs day-to-day operations, picks up the phone when you call, and handles business development. If you've booked with us, chances are you've talked to Kyle. He helped build this company on a simple idea: show up when you say you will, work hard, and treat every customer's home like it's your own.
Founder — Team Coordination & Onsite Supervision
Anthony is a founder of Steel Grip and keeps the crew moving. He coordinates the team, runs point on the truck, and supervises jobs from the driveway. When you see the guys carrying a couch down your steps without a scratch, that's Anthony making sure it goes right.
Founder — Marketing
Johnny is a founder of Steel Grip and runs marketing. He's the reason you found us — running our socials, spreading the word around Chicagoland, and making sure neighbors know there's a local, youth-owned crew they can actually count on.
At Steel Grip, we believe junk removal is about more than just hauling things away. Whenever possible, we donate usable items to local charities and recycle materials responsibly to reduce waste and give back to our community.
Today, Steel Grip has completed hundreds of jobs across Naperville, Aurora, Plainfield, Bolingbrook, and surrounding areas. We're proud to be a locally owned, youth-run business built on hard work, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
